FAQs

How soon will my care package be shipped?
Our care packages are assembled only after your order is placed. This ensures only the freshest items go into your care package. Most orders ship within 24 hours. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will ship the next business day. You will receive an email when your order has been shipped.

When will my package arrive at its destination?
USPS Priority Mail averages 3 business days. Confirming the exact date of delivery is beyond our control. Every effort is made for packages to arrive in a timely fashion based upon the shipping method. Once the package is shipped we are not responsible for delays by the shipping carrier. Please note delays may occur during shipping due to bad weather. We are not responsible if incorrect address information is entered at the time of checkout or if there is no response from the recipient upon delivery. What if I have a special request such as shipping dates or substitutions?
Please see our "Requests/Comments" text box during checkout. Let us know of any substitutions or requests you may have. Every effort will be made to fulfill your request. You will be contacted by one of our friendly staff members if we have any questions.

Does the cost of the care package include shipping?
Yes, each care package pictured includes USPS Priority shipping. Shipping for custom orders will be determined at the time of order. We gladly ship to APO and FPO addresses. At this time only USPS shipping options are available to APO and FPO addresses.

Why should I create an account?
You will only need to create an account in order to create a wish list. This allows your friends and family to view your list.

I noticed you do not list the contents of each package. What will be included in my care package?
Each care package comes with everything pictured. We have included a product description detailing individual items. We reserve the right to substitute items of equal or greater value in the event that an item is out of stock. During warmer months substitutions will be made for all chocolates and yogurt dipped products.

Can I add a card to my care package?
Yes. Just type your message in the card message option at checkout and we will include a personalized gift card in your package.

Will there be an invoice included in the care package?
The only thing we place inside the care package is a gift card with your personal message and awesome treats!

What if you don't have what I need?
Please feel free to email us at info@carepackagecafe.com You may use the convenient comment section under "contact us" or call our customer service center @ 503-277-3800 with a request. We will do our best to fill all special requests.

Can I cancel my order?
Yes. Orders may be canceled before they are sent to the shipper. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order. Once the item has shipped the order cannot be canceled. However, it can be returned intact for a full refund (see below).

Can I return the care package if I don't like it?
If you are not 100% satisfied with our product for any reason, please notify us within 5 days of receipt that you plan to return the package. An intact package must be received by us within 15 days of original delivery date. We do not pay for return shipping costs. Return package to:

We will gladly replace the item in question, the entire package, or refund your order. If an order is reshipped by request, additional shipping costs will be charged.

Can I pay by check?
We accept payment by check or money order. After placing your order online send your check or money order to:

Be sure to include your order number on the check. Your order will be shipped within 24 hours of receipt of payment. You will receive an email notification once your order has been shipped. A fee of $25 will be charged on all returned checks.

What is your privacy policy?
Your information is sent across a secure server.
We will never sell or share your personal information with anyone. We will email you after your order has been received, and we will email you with a confirmation number after your order has been shipped.

Is my personal and credit card information secure?
Absolutely. We process all our payments through Card Service International’s secured payment processing servers. Any personal information from the sender or package recipient will be used solely by our company for the processing of the order only. We do not sell or provide our customers personal information to any third parties.

What will my care package look like?
Your care package will arrive in an eco-friendly box with our label outside and your personalized greeting card inside. Packages ordered for birthdays will be packaged appropriate for the occasion. These boxes are great for storage around the dorm or can easily be recycled.
