Shipping
Care Package Cafe's preferred shipping method is USPS Priority Mail. USPS Priority shipping is included in the price for all care packages shown on this web site.
USPS Priority shipping is generally 3 business days from the time the shipper (USPS) receives the package, however, USPS does not
guarantee it. Care Package Cafe is not responsible for delays by the shipping carrier. Please note there may be delays during bad weather and other unexpected conditions. Care Package Cafe ships nationwide. We currently do not ship out of the country.
Our care packages are assembled after your order is placed.
This ensures only the freshest items go into your care package. Most orders
ship within 24 hours. Orders placed on a weekend or
holiday will ship the next business day. On occasion we may ship an order
UPS Ground due to college requests. You may request UPS Ground
shipping by using the "Requests/Comments" box during check out.
There is no additional charge for UPS Ground.
Please note UPS Ground can take up to 5-7 business days.
USPS Priority Mail®
Priority Mail® delivery averages 3 business days.
USPS delivers to campus mail boxes and PO boxes. USPS provides delivery confirmation for Priority Mail® service.
If during an attempted delivery to off-campus housing there is no one to accept the package (i.e. resident, apartment manager) notification may be left.
The recipient can then pick up the item at their local post office or contact them for redelivery. U.S. Post Offices and most college mail rooms generally hold packages for 15 days for the recipient to claim.
If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to us. Please let the recipient know you have sent a gift as we
do not refund unclaimed packages.
Tracking Your Order
A delivery
confirmation number for USPS Priority and a link to the USPS website will be provided in your shipping notification email. Please
provide your email address on the order form.
UPS Ground
For UPS Ground shipping, please specify "ship UPS Ground" in the
"Requests/Comments" section at checkout. There is no additional charge for UPS Ground. Please note UPS Ground can take up to 5-7 business days.
College Mail Rooms and PO Boxes
When shipping to a campus box number or PO box, a notification is left in the box and the recipient must retrieve the package from the mail room/post office. It will not be delivered directly to their room. You may wish to notify the student of an expected delivery as we do not refund unclaimed packages. Campus mail rooms/post offices generally hold packages for 15 days before returning them.
Delivery Date Requests
To request a specific delivery date, please
fill in the date you would like your order to arrive in the "Requests/Comments" section at checkout.
Though we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date, every effort will
be made for your order to arrive as near as possible to the date you request.
Shipping on Custom Orders
Free shipping does not apply to custom care packages. Shipping rates for custom orders will be determined at time of order.
